The NHL Hockey Officials Association has pledged to continue their support for hustle for a cure. It is a program held throughout Canada to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). Participants will raise funds for research to find a cure for blood cancers.

Both hustle for a cure founder Angelo D’Amico and his late father, John D’Amico, who lost his battle with leukemia back in May 2005, are alumni of the NHL Hockey Officials Association.

The LLSC has had the support of the NHL Hockey Officials Association since the hustle for a cure program started back in 2007.

The NHL Hockey Officials Association recognizes the important role hustle for a cure plays in raising funds and awareness in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s mission. The cause is very near and dear to the NHL community, as it has been touched by cancer.
