hustle for a cure is a fundraising program held by hockey coaches, players and fans throughout Canada in the winter. The proceeds from the event will bring help and hope to people and families battling blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma. Funds raised by participants will provide:
Whether you’re a hockey player, parent, coach or official the hustle for a cure program is an easy program for everyone to get involved in and help blow the whistle on blood cancer. You can participate.Individuals can participate on their own or as part of a team. The program structure of hustle for a cure promotes team building and team play. For instance, players can ask for pledges from friends, neighbours and family that are based on the number of times they pass the puck during a regular season game, practice, tournament, or other event. Supporters can also pledge a flat dollar amount if they wish. Officials can participate.hustle for a cure offers a simple opportunity for officials to team up for the cause — just donate a game fee or another amount of your choosing.
