Teamwork is at the heart of what hustle for a cure is all about -- skaters working together to reach a team goal; in support of the thousands who are affected by blood cancers. 

Coaches are encouraged to register their team in the hustle for a cure program. It’s a great way to promote team building and team play, and to develop and enhance your hockey players’ skills while supporting the LLSC mission.

For instance, players can ask family, neighbours and friends to pledge a dollar amount for each time they pass the puck during a regular season game, practice, tournament, or other event. Supporters might prefer to give a  flat donation, which is great too!

If you’re not a hockey coach, you can still organize a team of your own to participate in hustle for a cure. The LLSC provides everything you need. Members can earn individual prizes as well as team incentives.
