Let’s blow the whistle on blood cancers.

Leukemia, a cancer of the blood, afflicts more children and youth under the age of 20 than any other cancer. hustle for a cure is a great way for the hockey community to team up and help kids who have been diagnosed with blood cancer. Kids like Dalan.

Eight days after Dalan’s fifth birthday in 2008, his nose started bleeding and wouldn’t stop. His parents took him to the local children's hospital, and following blood tests, he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

Dalan and his family continue the difficult journey to remission. Dalan has endured many hospital visits since his diagnosis and he has been very brave. Cancer treatments continue to get better and more effective thanks to generous donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. While still in the middle of his three-year treatment, Dalan has made great progress and happily, has recently been able to get back on the ice and play the game he loves most.

Team up for the cause. Take part in hustle for a cure to help kids like Dalan and his family in their fight against blood cancer.
